For those of you in the midwest the very best place to get "calibrated" is the House on the Rock in Wisconsin about 30 miles west of Madison. This place is home to the collection of an eccentric man. It includes, just to name a few ipe organs, calliopes, string quartets, even a complete orchestra; all mechanically operated and no amplification! Just sit and close your eyes and listen.
